Deed transfer tax. Georgia charges $1 for the first $1,000 or fraction of the sale price and $0.10 for each additional $100 or fraction. The seller is liable, although the sales contract may require the buyer to pay. [2]

The city reports that the enforcement date has been extended; check current implementation before relying on nightly rental income. [5]
